Friendship Groups

Our friendship groups are for bereaved people who may or may not have had Cruse one-to-one support. They are a space for people to meet those similarly affected and to form new and ongoing friendships.
Each group is run by a trained Cruse volunteer.
 

Oxford Friendship Group

This group is held on the second Thursday of each month from 10.30 till 12.30. We meet in St. Michael's Church, Cornmarket Street. We have occasional speakers from various organisations such as Water Aid, Guide Dogs, and other charities. Refreshments are provided.

Wallingford Friendship Group

This group meets on the first Thursday of each month from 12:00 till 14:00 at St. Mary-Le-More Church in Wallingford. The group organises external activities and visits for its members. We recently visited Denman College, the home of the famous W.I. cookery, craft and lifestyle courses.

Abingdon Friendship Group

This group meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 14.15 in the Social Centre at The Baptist Church, 35 Ock Street, Abingdon.
